Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Arusha.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by your driver-guide who will warmly welcome you. After a brief introduction, you'll be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Once you arrive, you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner at your lodge. In the evening, a pre-safari briefing will be conducted, where your guide will provide an overview of the upcoming adventure, detailing the itinerary and important safari tips. This will be your opportunity to ask any questions and ensure you’re fully prepared for the exciting days ahead. Day 2: Arusha – Central Serengeti.

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your scheduled flight to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The flight offers breathtaking aerial views of Tanzania's vast landscapes and takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the airstrip. Upon landing in the Serengeti, you will be welcomed by your lodge or camp’s team and join a shared, scheduled open safari vehicle. From there, you’ll embark on your first shared game drive across the endless plains, where you may spot lions, elephants, cheetahs, and herds of wildebeest and zebra. These game drives follow a schedule set by the lodge or camp and are guided by knowledgeable resident guides who offer deep insight into the park’s wildlife and ecology. Day 3: Central Serengeti.

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the iconic Central Serengeti, a region renowned for its rich concentration of wildlife and classic savannah landscapes. After an early breakfast at your camp or lodge, you’ll head out for a full day of game drives in the Seronera Valley, an area known for year-round wildlife activity, especially predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. The river systems here attract a wide variety of animals, making for excellent viewing opportunities throughout the day. You’ll carry a packed hot lunch, which will be enjoyed at one of the scenic picnic sites within the park—perhaps under the shade of an acacia tree or near a hippo pool. This gives you the flexibility to remain in the bush without returning to camp, maximizing your chances of witnessing dramatic wildlife encounters. In the afternoon, you’ll continue your adventure across different parts of the central Serengeti, following migration paths, spotting birds, and soaking in the vast beauty of the plains. Day 4: Central Serengeti.

This morning, after breakfast at camp, we'll embark on another day of game drives and exploration in the central Serengeti. We'll delve deeper into this incredible ecosystem, searching for different wildlife and experiencing the diverse landscapes it has to offer. We'll maximize our time in the park to ensure you have the best possible wildlife viewing opportunities. A delicious picnic lunch will be provided for you to enjoy amidst the stunning scenery. As the sun sets, we'll return to our special camp where you can relax and freshen up before enjoying another delicious dinner. Day 5: Central Serengeti - Arusha

Early morning, after breakfast, your driver-guide will transfer you to the Seronera Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Arusha. The drive to the airstrip offers a final chance to spot wildlife along the way, making for a scenic and memorable farewell to the Serengeti. The flight takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, giving you one last aerial view of the vast plains below. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be met by a representative who will assist you with your connection to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward international flight. This marks the end of your incredible 5-day Serengeti safari—filled with unforgettable experiences and wild beauty.
